The postnatal workout for mums (or mums who wish to start up fitness classes again).
Congratulations on your new addition! If you’re managing to get used to the sleepless nights, and getting past that walking zombie stage, you may be starting to think about exercising again…
There are plenty of things that stop you, right? Time, no confidence to go into a big gym, but one of the biggest issues for a new Mums is “I have no child care”!
Classes are specifically designed for post natal (or those who wish to regain post baby bodies) mums who wish to exercise and socialise with their babies (or without the choice is yours).
Our postnatal daytime Fitcamp is specially designed for the postnatal body and taught by a fully a qualified postnatal fitness instructor and the best thing is, you CAN BRING YOUR BABY along with you too (if you want to)!
Exercise is good for you physically, but did you know that it can improve your mood and relieve stress too? Exercising has been proven to help with alleviating symptoms of postnatal depression… so imagine how good you could feel exercising on a regular basis!
IMPORTANT: Please make sure your GP / Midwife has completed your 6 week check before commencing a class.
Remember Babies can come too, so no need for childcare. Please bring your car chair – pushchairs are welcome but we are on the second floor so you will need to advise this in advance so we can help you bring it up.
The atmosphere is relaxed, babies can stay in their car chairs/pushchairs or lie on the soft playmats, crawl,dribble, cry and basically do what babies do whilst the mums are put through their paces in circuit style, with resistance bands, kettle bells medicine balls and body weight exercises, plus core conditioning work consisting of abdominal, back and pelvic floor exercises. We work a lot on the core area to re-strengthening the muscles which have taken a 9 month hammering from the weight of the baby. Mums get results, babies couldn’t care less and everyone is happy – win win!

- PLUS acess to 5 free classes from the Phoenix Dance and Fitness timetable
please note these classes cannot currently be bought online (below)- you will however need to book your space and pay via the email link or on arriving at your first class.

For only £45 you can attend as many classes as you like for a whole month*, including Zumba,Fitsteps, piYo, STRONG by zumba, P.H.I.T, ( *not including yummy mummy fit /or polefit) .
Please note: The 5 classes card expires 6 weeks after purchase.
You can buy your passes in class with no fee but passes bought online are subject to a £1.50 fee.
